I started "Redneck Ranch"

When I started Redneck Ranch my thoughts were for a camping club for under privaliged children. We had a lot of fun and I believe we did a lot of good for while there. I have way with children...they like me and I like them from the start. But without the skills of organization after about 2 years I started noticing that it had turned into a babysitting service for drunks and drug abusers and I didn't know how to ge above that. My wife (now divorced) and I kept at it for another 3 years but in the end it took everything we owned...just to be there for the kids. And we had to stop. On one ocasion we had planned a 4 day trip to Jackson Lake (northern Colorado) We asked for help from parents with food and transpertation and help with the children while we were there...on the day we left 23 children were there and ready to go...and no one else! We had a lot of fun, we had no choice but to make the best if it...and we did.
